Tomorrow, built with clinicians today.

Five focused modules, each built around one clinical question — and each defined with the clinicians who will use it.

Healium Intelliscan is cleared and in use today. Healium Intelligence is separate software, built one clinical question at a time.

Module 01 · Focused analysisIn clinical evaluation

OB/GYN

Obstetric and gynaecologic scans are where a handheld probe travels furthest from the imaging department. This module is being built for that moment.

Stages. Prototype — tested on retrospective images, with clinicians reviewing every output. Clinical evaluation — prospective evaluation in real settings, generating the evidence a regulatory submission would need.

Clinical task
Fetal head plane recognition with landmark labelling.
Intended workflow (under evaluation)
Runs on frames captured with the convex array, inside the same exam — no second device, no upload step.
Now defining
Gestational range, planes covered and clinical evidence.
Healium Intelligence interface (in clinical evaluation): fetal head plane with Healium Intelligence labels IHF, FH, CSP and CN

Cardiac

Cardiac views are demanding to acquire and to read. This module focuses on one defined step in that work.

Clinical task
Standard view recognition with structure labelling.
Intended workflow (under evaluation)
Works alongside the cardiac preset on the linear array, on the views the clinician already acquires.
Now defining
Views covered, label set and validation.
Healium Intelligence interface (in clinical evaluation): parasternal long-axis view with Healium Intelligence labels RV, LVOT, AV, LV, MV and LA

Help while the probe is still on the patient.

Two modules for acquisition — guiding the sweep, and checking the image is good enough to use.

Healium Intelligence interface (in clinical evaluation), live OB/GYN scan with Sweep Guidance: tilt slowly toward the head, sweep 3 of 6
Module 03 · AcquisitionIn clinical evaluation

Sweep Guidance

Real-time guidance during a defined ultrasound sweep — inside the scanning workflow, not after it. Not the same as Guided OB Sweep, the app's non-AI acquisition workflow.

Clinical task
Real-time direction, speed and coverage during a guided sweep.
Intended workflow (under evaluation)
On the live scan screen, while the probe is moving.
Now defining
Sweep protocols, guidance behaviour and evaluated users.
Healium Intelligence interface (in clinical evaluation), live kidney scan with Image Quality: 96% quality score against an 80% target
Module 04 · AssessmentIn clinical evaluation

Image Quality

Is this image suitable for the task? Feedback before the probe leaves the patient.

Clinical task
View recognition and a quality score at capture.
Intended workflow (under evaluation)
At capture, before the frame is saved or sent.
Now defining
Scoring criteria, thresholds and limits.
Module 05 · Focused analysisIn clinical evaluation

Renal

A whole-frame CKD score from one longitudinal kidney view, shown alongside the clinical information recorded for the patient. For evaluation only — not a diagnosis.

Mayo Clinic PlatformDeveloped with
Mayo Clinic Platform
Clinical task
A CKD score (0–100) from a single kidney B-mode frame.
Intended workflow (under evaluation)
On convex‑array renal views within the standard exam.
Now defining
What the score represents, its agreement with eGFR and recorded CKD stage, and its limits.
Healium Intelligence interface (in clinical evaluation), Renal assessment: longitudinal kidney B-mode frame with a whole-frame CKD score of 45/100, and clinical information recorded by the clinician (eGFR, CKD stage, diagnosis)

We're working with clinical teams to set the scope, inputs and evidence for each module.

Healium Intelligence modules are in clinical evaluation and not available for clinical use. They are not part of the Healium Intelliscan LX192LC 510(k) clearance. Scope, evidence and availability will be published as each is confirmed.
